Ola S1 Pro Discount Extended till the end of the current festive season… Offer only applicable on top-spec S1 Pro e-scooter…
A few weeks back we reported that Ola Electric is offerings a discount of Rs. 10,000/- on their flagship S1 Pro electric scooter in order to improve their sales numbers. This discount timeline went well into the current festive season, and so the company has decided to extend this cash discount for this festive period.
So basically, back in May 2022, Ola Electric and their CEO announced on their Twitter handles that the company is going to hike the price of their S1 Pro electric scooter by Rs. 10,000/- for the subsequent purchase windows. This hike coincided with the reports of their rivals coming out with improved models or new products – especially Ather with Gen-3 450X & 450 Plus.
This price increase coupled with many instances of mechanical failures and quality issues resulted in the company seeing their sales number plummet month-over-month. Ola Electric have seen their sales fall by nearly 5,828 units from May (9,249 units) to August (3,421 units), as per the data mentioned on the VAHAN portal.

This prompted the company to rethink many of their sales strategies. To better reach more customers, Ola Electric have recently announced their plans of opening 20 new Ola Experience Centres, with 8 already operational in major cities of India. By March of 2023, they are aiming to reach 200 established Ola Experience Centres in India.
Coming to their offerings – in the current festive season, the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter is being offered at Rs. 1,29,999/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). Do note the fact that this discount is only applicable on the top-spec S1 Pro and not on the base S1 electric scooter.
Additionally, on top of the Rs. 10,000/- cash discount, Ola is also offering a discount of Rs. 1,500/- on their 5-year extended warranty, a reduced interest rate of 8.99% (down by 2.2%) & Zero processing fee on loans. These offers will be valid till the current festive season ends, i.e. till the end of October 2022.
Finally, Ola Electric is planning to expand their footprint to other countries as well and will begin their sales operation in Nepal by the end of 2022.
