Suzuki today officially launched the Gixxer SF MotoGP edition in India. You can check out its price and pics in this story. Apart from that, in the same press release, the Japs have announced that they are making a MotoGP version of the sibling SF 250 as well.

Quite obviously the Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP will come with the racing blue colour theme of their MotoGP motorcycle but what differences will it have with the 150 are not known since there are no pics that they have shared.

However, Suzuki has confirmed that Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP will continue with the same 249 cc, SOCS (Suzuki Oil Cooling System), single cylinder, four stroke, SOHC engine which is capable of producing 26.5 PS of peak power at 9000 rpm and 22.6 Nm of max torque at 7500 rpm – which means no mechanical changes!
