We have exclusive naked Gixxer 250 spy pics revealing the bike. Gixxer 250, at its expected price tag, should be a very good competition to Yamaha FZ range, Mojo, Dominar etc.
So, now that the Gixxer SF 250 has started reaching showrooms and with deliveries also commencing in some cities, it is time to move to the next motorcycle in this segment from Suzuki – the very obvious naked Gixxer 250.
We have a couple of exclusive spy pics of the streetfighter which reveal the motorcycle partially. Gixxer 250 carries over the same alloy-wheel-tyre set-up and may probably have the same braking unit as well as that of the Gixxer SF 250, including the double channel ABS system. However, it gets rim stripes for added sportiness along with body coloured mud guard.
It also comes with a contrast-coloured underbelly engine guard as well as tank extensions which flaunt the ‘Gixxer 250’ moniker.
Naked Gixxer 250 Spy Pics
In the other pic which details us from the side-top view – we can see a silver stripe over the tank and knuckle guards mounted on a regular rod-type handlebar (the SF gets clip-ons). The handlebar is also slightly raised which means we are set to get a slightly relaxed seating posture on the naked. The all-digital instrument cluster is expected to be carried over and with the absence of the fairing, the rear view mirrors are mounted on the handlebar.
Two things do not gel well with the bike – the weird blue coloured tank pad and the finish of the seat cover. Gixxer 250 will be powered by the same 249cc, oil cooled, SOHC motor which is capable of producing 26.5 PS of peak power at 9000 rpm and 22.6 Nm of max torque at 7500 rpm.
2019 Apache 310 Review – Impressions
Gixxer SF 250 is priced at Rs 170,655 and we hope to see the naked make way at around Rs 1.50 Lakh (both prices ex-showroom) which should make it a very interesting preposition in the quarter liter segment.
