Check Yamaha R15 ABS Darknight Pics and quick overview
Alongside the 2019 FZ v3, Yamaha also took the opportunity to showcase the new R15 v3 ABS on stage. On display were two colours – Darknight and Blue (Red is the third colour in the palette).
The new motorcycle, shod with dual channel ABS, was launched earlier this month (launch article) and remains mechanically and cosmetically same, save for ‘ABS’ sticker on the fairing and the new matte black colour which is being called as Darknight.
Darknight costs Rs 1.41 Lakh ex-showroom Delhi and hence, commands a premium of Rs 2000 over the regular shades (blue and red). The 2019 version continues to be propelled by the same 155cc liquid cooled, VVA-equipped single cylinder engine which is capable of producing 19.3 PS of peak power at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of maximum torque at 8500 rpm.

There is a minor weight increase because of the additional equipment of the ABS system and it also features a new warning light on the instrument console.
We have tested the motorcycle (the non-ABS version) last year and it is surprisingly better than the already fantastic benchmark of the R15 v2. You can read our review here.
