Further strengthening our belief that there won’t be a new-gen Apache 180 anytime soon (based on the new Apache 160 4V), TVS has introduced the Race Edition of existing Apache 180.

TVS is offering it in the twin disc (front + rear) variant only and it comes with a blue backlit digital display which features 0-60 kmph timer, Lap timer, service indicator etc.

Just for reference, the Apache 160 4V rear disc is priced at Rs 84,490 ex-Delhi.
Mechanically there are no changes to the new edition of Apache 180 – it continues with the same 16.62 PS and 15.5 Nm 177.4 cc 2 valve engine. In terms of outright performance, TVS claims a 0-60 kmph sprint in 4.96 seconds.

Recently, TVS also introduced the 2018 Apache 200 with four changes (details here). Apart from this, in the month of March, sibling Apache 310 outsold the KTM 390 twins combined and was only few hundred units away from much lesser priced Bajaj Dominar 400 (report)! However, it will be interesting to see how things pan out after the 310 got a big price increment last month.
