Mahindra Mojo BS6 launch just a few days away! It will be interesting to note the changes the highly regarded tourer gets in this transition…
One motorcycle that left most of the people impressed but did not do well on the sales charts is Mahindra Mojo. But that has to do with the moniker it sported since Mahindra hasn’t had a good run in the two-wheeler space.
Gradually Mahindra winded up business under its own brand leaving the Mojo as the only major 2-wheeler available in the market. But even that was till the Bharat Stage 6 emission norms kicked in, in April this year. With the Jawa motorcycles (which carry Mojo’s motor) becoming BS6 compliant it was always expected that Mojo may also get updated as well. But with single/double digit sales a month, people also suspected that Mahindra may finally pull the plug on the 300cc tourer as well.
Mojo BS6 Launch
However, today we have some good news for all the Mojo fans. We connected with the official social channels of the brand and asked them about the motorcycle’s future. And, as you can see, it confirmed that Mojo BS6 is coming soon. And as soon as June end ie within the coming few days…
In 2019, Mahindra clubbed both the XT and UT models to form one single variant to be on sale. It produced 26.29 PS of peak power at 7500 rpm and 28 Nm of maximum torque at 5500 rpm from the same 294cc, liquid cooled, DOHC engine.
