EXCLUSIVE Pics of 2020 Access BS6 – New Colour, External Fuel Lid

Presenting some exclusive Access BS6 pics which reveal new details of the scooter. It gets a new colour, external fuelling and other new features…

Just yesterday Suzuki announced the Access 125 BS6 (link to our story). It released some details and withheld many others, including the price. There was only a single pic shared by the company which did not reveal many bits of the new model.

But here we have some exclusive pics of the new Access which will leak many new details of the largest selling 125cc scooter in the country.

This appears to be the same Matte Bordeaux Red colour that was introduced recently in the lineup in July 2019.

Here is an all-new colour – Metallic dark greenish blue shade (will be something else in Suzuki speak). It will be introduced in the ‘Special Edition’ version. It continues with the black theme on the alloy wheels, exhaust as well as the engine. The seat continues to be contrast brown and on the handlebar are those chrome rear view mirrors.

Here is the new instrument cluster. The basic layout remains the same – analog speedometer with digital readouts for fuel, trip and other info. Suzuki has added ‘Eco Assist Illumination’ – lights which will suggest optimum speeds for enhanced fuel efficiency.

The external fuel lid is the biggest change and though it looks crude but it will be very practical in daily usage. You will be saved from mounting off the scooter while refuelling. It will have its own lock mechanism to prevent fuel theft.

Official price revelation is expected early next month which is when deliveries are also set to commence. Since the motor is now fuel injected, expect a price hike of around Rs 5000-7000 on the current ex-showroom prices.
