New 2020 Access BS6 comes with few new features, most prominent of them being the external fuel filling lid as we have revealed earlier.
Update – Exclusive: 2020 Access BS6 to Get New Matt Silver; LIVE Pics of Changes
Suzuki has just shot in a contradictory press release which has announced its 2020 Access BS6 in the country. It will be the first product from the company to be updated to the upcoming emission norms.
In its new avatar, Access 125 continues with the same 124cc, air cooled engine but it now gets fuel injection in place of the good old carburettor. The good thing is that it has retained its 8.7 PS of peak power output at 7000 rpm. This comes at a time when almost all the other products have lost some numbers in this transition. The max torque, however, has gone down a wee bit to 10 Nm (as compared to 10.2 Nm) but it comes higher at 5500 rpm (against 5000 peak rpm of the current model).
Like others, Suzuki has also thrown in some extra features which include Eco Assist illumination (a green light on the cluster indicates you are riding in optimum speeds for enhanced fuel efficiency), LED headlamp and more importantly external fuel filling lid, as we have already leaked earlier (link to our scoop).
