Benelli Gets Aggressive: Plans 25 New Dealerships in 4 Months

That is what we love to see – international manufacturers getting real aggressive in their intent to snatch a pie of the ever-growing sports motorcycle market in India. Shortly after their split with DSK Motowheels, Benelli was very quick to form a partnership with Mahavir Group and as a part of the strategy they are now growing their touch points across India.

From the current set of 15 dealerships, Benelli intends to almost triple the number to 40 by March 2018, as they have revealed in their official press release announcing the re-launch of three motorcycles – Faired 302R, TNT 300 and TNT 600i. This means they will add 25 new dealerships in four odd months which is higher than the total number of dealerships they have opened so far.

Benelli has recently relaunched three motorcycles including this 302RBenelli has not revealed the name of the new cities which are getting their touch points but expect all the major Tier 1 cities to get covered. It may also include some tier 2 cities as well.

The ploy is to start deliveries of the recently re-introduced motorcycles from the existing dealerships and simultaneously open up new ones along with launching fresh products like the TRK 502 which was spotted testing recently, Leoncino etc.

Another customer friendly initiative was the increment of service intervals from four months to six which will help in reducing service costs by about 33-34 percent! So, the going is in the right direction and we are definitely looking forward to the new TRKs…
