OFFICIAL: Benelli Confirms 302S for India

Benelli 302S Indian launch has been confirmed by the company. It will replace the TNT 300 and is a much more modern streetfighter motorcycle…

The Italian-Chinese automaker Benelli is trying to get a good stronghold in our Indian market with its new partner Adishwar Auto Ride India, better known as Mahavir Group. It looks more settled than DSK and has a very young and dynamic Vikas Jhabakh as the company director.

After a brief hiccup due to COVID-19, Benelli recently re-started its BS6 innings with the introduction of the 2020 Imperiale 400. In an earlier interview, Vikas had already revealed that the company would introduce more motorcycles into the lineup once it settles down.

Benelli has officially announced as many as seven motorcycles that will be launched in this BS6 era apart from the Imperiale. Out of that list, there is a big change – the listing of 302S. Yes, Benelli has confirmed that India will get the 302S in the coming few months. The 302S is a lot more modern motorcycle than the TNT 300 that it used to sell here. Chances are that the TNT 300 will be discontinued permanently (it is not listed as well).

The 302S comes with the 300cc parallel twin, liquid cooled engine which produces 37.5 bhp of peak power at 11,000 rpm and 25.6 Nm of max torque at 9000 rpm. It packs in a full LED lighting system and an all digital instrument cluster.
