Chakan based manufacturer, Bajaj Auto, will bring in two more models in its Discover range to provide customers a comprehensive range of six models to choose from. The new range of Discover motorcycles are aimed at strengthening Bajaj Auto’s position in the commuter motorcycle segment.
The latest offering of Discover 100M is the fourth variant in the available Discover lineup. Though the launch is expected to be close, no solid claim can be made on the Engine specs of the upcoming models as of now. Our bet will be-
- M version of Discover 125 (Discover 125 M)
- ST version of Discover 100 (Discover 100 ST)
The announcement has come at the launch of Discover 100M. On the occasion Mr.K Srinivas, President of Bajaj’s Motorcycle Business said that they had already announced the launch of as many as 6 Discovers and Discover 100M is the fourth product in the lineup (we thought there would be 6 new ones!). Bajaj will be launching two more Discover models soon.

Chances of a 150CC Discover seem bleak as the expected range will be slotted in ‘value segment’, which in Bajaj’s language will translate to offering in to mileage bikes with 100-125 cc engines. The value segment counts a total sales of 3.78 lakh units which is around 45% of the total 8.35 lakh overall motorcycle market. Bajaj now enjoys a 20% share in the value segment. The entire Discover range will be the hope of the home bred manufacturer to reach heights in this segment.
