Avenger Twins Get Another Price Hike; ₹15,000 Costlier in 15 Months!

Bajaj Avenger latest prices have made them costlier by upto Rs 15,000 in 15 odd months. The 220 is now costlier than Intruder!

Along with others, Bajaj has increased the prices of its Avenger cruisers again. The latest quantum of hike is around Rs 4000 on both the models.

As compared to the first announced BS6 prices, the Avenger 160 has become costlier by Rs 14,528 (or 15.5 percent) whereas the bigger 220 is now dearer by Rs 15,268 (or 13 percent) – in a matter of 15 odd months.

Around last time this year, rival Intruder was costlier than the Cruise 220, however, it is now cheaper by a fairly significant amount of around Rs 5500.

The Avenger Street 220 was dropped from the lineup it is no more on sale.

For the First Timer Ever Dominar (250) is Cheaper Than Pulsar (RS200)

The Avenger Cruise 220, which is the flagship model, is powered by the same 220cc oil cooled engine but it had gained fuel injection and produces 19.03 PS of peak power and 17.55 Nm of max torque.

The Avenger Street 160’s updated 160cc motor churns 15 PS of power and 13.7 Nm of torque and it also gets fuel injected.

Currently, both these motorcycles enjoy very little competition in the form of Suzuki Intruder 150. This list may be joined by the bigger Intruder 250 as well as the Zeppelin in the months to come.
