We do a quick Avenger vs Intruder price comparison after both Suzuki and Bajaj raised the prices of their cruisers this month…
If you are a cruiser fan, in the entry level space you only have two options to choose from – Suzuki’s Intruder and Bajaj Avenger. Intruder is the most flamboyant-looking cruiser here but it is also the least powerful. Avenger, on the other hand, comes in two variants – with a 160cc engine in ‘Street’ guise and with a more powerful 220cc motor under the ‘Cruise’ styling.
Intruder Latest Price
Intruder was updated to BS6 compliance in March 2020. It was priced at Rs 1,20,000 – a hike of around 11 percent over its BS4 variant. Now after about 16 months, Suzuki has increased the prices of its lone cruiser multiple times. Here are its latest prices…
|Model||BS6 Launch Price (March 2020)||Latest Price (July 2021)|
|Intruder||Rs 1,20,000||Rs 1,26,500|
In this transition Intruder lost 1 hp of power and a wee bit of torque as well. Also, it gained 3 kilos because of the added equipment to control emissions.
