Gixxer SF250 latest price hike takes the effective increment to over three percent in this BS4 to BS6 transition.
It is a carnage out there! All manufacturers are increasing prices of their new BS6 models like crazy as if the BS4 to BS6 transitional costs (that were passed onto the customers) were not enough! It appears that manufacturers are trying to increase their margins amid low sales (from customers who are considering new products during these times).
On the same lines, Suzuki has raised prices of most of its products that we have already discussed. This list also includes the full faired Gixxer SF 250. Here are the latest prices in a table…
Gixxer SF250 Latest Price
|Variant||Last BS4 Price||BS6 Launch Price (May)||Latest Price (July)|
|Standard||Rs 1,70,655||Rs 1,74,000||Rs 1,76,140|
|MotoGP Edition||Rs 1,71,456||Rs 1,74,900||Rs 1,76,941|
As you can see, the latest price hike is of Rs 2140 (or about 1.2 percent) on both the variants of the quarter liter motorcycle. However, the effective BS4 to BS6 hike is now Rs 5485 which equates to an increment of 3.2 percent.
Since these 250cc Gixxers were introduced only last year, there have been no significant changes to the 2020 models. There are minor updates to the peak rpms and max torque, apart from the additional BS-VI stickers.
