All manufacturers are increasing prices of their motorcycles and scooters like crazy as if the BS4 to BS6 transitional costs (that were passed onto the customers) were not enough! It is evident that manufacturers are trying to increase their margins amid low sales (from customers who are considering new products during these times).

The latest price hike on the 250s is Rs 3500 each. Effectively, since the debut of the BS6 variants, these Gixxers have become costlier by Rs 7800-7900 – which corresponds to roughly 4.5 percent on both the variants of the quarter liter motorcycle.
