In a pleasantly surprising move, KTM has reduced the ex-showroom price of its 250 Adventure bike by around INR 25,000. The motorcycle is now priced at INR 2.30 Lac (ex-showroom Delhi) which was earlier INR 2.54 Lac.
The only twist in the tale is that this price slash will only remain effective for a limited period. Starting from today July 14, 2021, till August 31, 2021, you can get the company’s quarter liter ADV at Rs 25,000 lesser.
Also, the temporary price revision makes the KTM 250 Adventure only INR 1276 costlier than the naked 250 Duke.

Although the price has been revised and reduced, it is yet to get an update on KTM’s official website. On the official online booking portal, KTM 250 Adventure is still displayed at INR 2.54 Lac ex-showroom price (Maharashtra).
It is believed that KTM intends to push its Duke customers to the Adventure segment. Also, recently, there has been a steady demand for adventure bikes for long-distance touring.
Recently, Bajaj also dropped the price of Dominar 250 by a big margin. On the other hand, like the Dominar 400, the 390 Adventure has become costlier by Rs 11,000 in this month.

There are two possibilities – either Bajaj/KTM are not getting ample amount of sales from their 250s (they may be lower than their target) or the production costs may have gotten reduced.
