BIG: 2021 Ninja 300 BS6 May Cost Under 2.5L; Launch Soon

2021 Ninja 300 BS6 launch in the coming few months but that speculated price tag could make the full faired sportster a killer multi-cylinder deal!

It was earlier in January this year when the first and probably the only spy pics of the 2021 Ninja 300 BS6 surfaced on the internet (check them here). It confirmed that Kawasaki is, indeed, working on the sportster’s update. This was important because it showed that the company was willing to invest in the upgrade of what is now, more or less, an India specific model.

Now, when we are just in the last month of this year, an online report from Autocar has spilled some fresh beans on the entry level Ninja and there are few surprises as well. According to the report, Kawasaki will increase localization on the model further.

This means that, instead of the motorcycle becoming dearer, it may get cheaper – cheaper by around or over Rs 50,000. The report says that new Ninja 300 BS6 may be introduced at a shocking price tag of under Rs 2.50 Lakh ex-showroom. If this goes true, the already brilliantly priced twin cylinder motorcycle will become an even more terrific value for money model.

Recently, BMW also surprised the motorcycling fraternity by announcing major price reductions on the new BS6 compliant G310 twins. It will be interesting to see how deep will the changes be on the new Ninja 300 as a major overhaul is not really expected if the eventual price tag is to be kept very aggressive.
