Revealed: Honda X-Blade Specifications; Produces Segment-Best Torque

We list the 2020 X-Blade BS6 specs that have been uploaded on the website. Honda did not mention them in its original press note.

The Japanese automaker – Honda launched its first Bharat Stage 6 compliant premium 150 cc motorcycle yesterday, in the form of the X-Blade. You can read our launch story here. However, Honda continued its new-found style of sending half-baked press-releases, which omitted key details like the standard price and even the specs.

While yesterday we highlighted how X-Blade is now the second costliest bike in the segment, we are listing its key specifications in this story.

X-Blade BS6 Specs

X-Blade continues with the same 4-stroke, 162.71 cc engine but it now produces a peak power of 13.68 bhp at 8000 rpm, and a maximum torque of 14.7 Nm at 5500 rpm. This means that there has been a minor drop of about 0.25 bhp but more importantly torque has risen by 0.8 Nm. This makes it the torquiest motorcycle in the segment!

It is equipped with Honda’s HET technology, and PGM-FI system with eight sensors onboard to provide superior combustion and fuel efficiency. It has a weight of 143 kg and 144 kg for the single disc and dual disc variants respectively.
