2020 Classic 350 BS6 power is very slightly down despite the addition of fuel injection. But RE says it will offer better performance…
Royal Enfield launched the Classic 350 with Bharat Stage 6 compliance very recently. Instead of bringing in a new engine, which was on tests, the Chennai-based maker has continued with its pushrod engine.
RE did not reveal the power and torque of its 2020 Classic earlier but it has now updated its website with its specs. The new Classic 350 BS6 produces 19.1 bhp of peak power at 5250 rpm and 28 Nm of max torque at 4000 rpm from the same 346cc, single cylinder, air cooled, 4-stroke engine which is now fuel injected. This means that it has lost 0.7 bhp of power whereas the torque numbers have remain unchanged. Royal Enfield says that the new Classics will be refine, more driveable and will offer better performance.
The company has ditched twin spark plug and the BS6 version comes only with a single spark plug. At 195 kg, the new Classic has also gained 1 kilogram of extra weight. Another change that we can notice is that bigger 12 Ah battery that the 2020 Classic 350 gains. The older motorcycle is shod with an 8 Ah battery.

RE has also brought in its premium colour shades to the Classic 350’s lineup. The classic motorcycle is now available in Stealth Black, Chrome Black, Gunmetal Grey, Classic Black, Stormrider Sand and Airborne Blue colours. As a part of the refresh process, few variants among these are now offered with alloy wheels.
