The export business witnessed a sensational YoY growth of 53 percent as Bajaj shipped 2.42 lakh units from India last month
Bajaj Auto has registered sales of over 4.43 lakh units in Aug 2026 with a healthy double-digit YoY growth of 30 percent. The company had retailed more than 3.41 lakh units during the same month last year. The domestic sales surged from 1.84 lakh units in Aug 2025 to 2.02 lakh units in Aug 2026 with a YoY growth of 10 percent. As for the export business, Bajaj shipped 2.42 lakh units of made-in-India two-wheelers to various global markets last month as compared to 1.58 lakh units in Aug 2025 with 53 percent YoY growth.
The YTD (year-to-date) sales in FY27 (April-August 2026) reached 20.55 lakh units with 29 percent YoY growth as 15.87 lakh units were sold during April-August 2025. During these five months, the brand sold 9.54 lakh units in the domestic market while recording 12 percent growth as compared to 8.53 lakh units sold during April-August 2025. The exports grew by 50 percent on a YoY basis from 7.34 lakh units during April-August 2025 to 11.01 lakh units during April-August 2026.
Recently, the new-gen Pulsar 125 and new-gen Pulsar 150 were launched at starting prices of Rs 92,900 and Rs 1.15 lakh, respectively, in the Indian market. Both the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom, Delhi. The new-gen Pulsar Classic duo was presented with latest features, modern suspension setup, all-new frame and more powerful engines.

Bajaj Auto also launched the all-new Pulsar N160 S and Pulsar N160 SS last month at price points of Rs 1.34 lakh and Rs 1.43 lakh, respectively, in the Indian market. Both the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom, Delhi. Both the new models were rolled out to celebrate the 25 years of Pulsar nameplate in India while expanding the highly successful Pulsar N line-up.
Meanwhile, it was also learnt that Bajaj’s upcoming adventure motorcycle will have its keenly-awaited global debut by the end of 2026. It is likely to first go on sale in Brazil, despite the production commencing at the brand’s Pune facility in India. Waldyr Ferreira – Executive Director of Bajaj Brazil, told the media that Bajaj adventure bike could be launched in December 2026 in the Latin American country.

It was widely reported in media that Bajaj Auto will roll out six new motorcycles in the next 45 days in the domestic market as we approach the festive season of Diwali, which is considered the best occasion for purchasing in India. Since the N and Classic range of Pulsars have been updated, we expect the company to now introduce the revamped Pulsar NS line-up in the coming weeks.
