Yamaha Bluetooth Connectivity Explained
There are two Bluetooth connectivity apps that Yamaha deploys for its vehicles. These are Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X and Y-connect apps.
Yamaha FZX Launched at 1.17 Lac
The Connect X app supports the recently launched 2021 Fascino 125cc scooter and the upcoming RayZR Hybrid.
This app has features to locate your bike, check the parking records, glance through the riding history, etc. You can even use the e-lock feature to keep your vehicle secure. The app also allows you know to vehicle information like battery status.
Y-Connect App
Coming to the Y-connect app it has more features as compared to the Connect X app.
With the Y-connect app, you can get the call, email and message alerts along with the info about the battery level of your phones. FZX, the roadster which is the latest release from Yamaha, supports the Y-connect app.
All the above information will be flashing right on the LCD panel of your bike’s meter console. The Y-connect app also allows the rider to check how many kilometers they have clocked and compare it with all other Yamaha riders around the globe through a ranking system.
Apart from that, this app helps the rider to monitor the parking location and keep a record of parking.
Additionally, the Y-connect app will notify the riders through email when their vehicle is having mechanical issues. Also, when the engine oil and battery are due for replacement, this app will notify you about that as well.
