2021 Fascino features list now includes a hybrid system that helps in acceleration from zero, apart from many others. Pricing will be announced later…
At a digital event earlier today, Yamaha officially announced the launch of the 2021 Fascino Hybrid, apart from the all-new FZX. The scoot comes with many new features and fresher colors to sweeten up the deal.
It continues to be powered by the 125cc fuel injected motor that it gained last year, which produces a decent power output of 8.2PS at 6500RPM and a maximum torque of 10.3Nm at 5000 RPM.
The new Fascino comes with a Smart Motor Generator System or SMG. Its work is to help reduce the stutter when the scooter gets into motion from rest. It provides additional assistance to the scooter when moving from rest or when climbing uphill. Yamaha is calling this Power Assist.
When the RPM exceeds a certain value, the Power Assist gets disengage. There is an indicator for this feature in the meter console to let the rider know when the Power Assist is engaged or disengaged. It also implements an automatic Stop and Start functionality along with Quiet Engine Start System.
