FZS V4 price is Rs 500 lesser than the Deluxe trim that has been on sale in three colors for the last many months…
Though Yamaha updated its FZ range with the version 4 many months back, it continues to be offered with the class-lowest 12.4 PS of peak power from the 149cc motor. We have no gripes with the engine, but it is and feels low powered as compared to other motorcycles around this price band.
In order to bring back the motorcycle to headlines, Yamaha has officially announced the launch of two new colors to its FZS V4 just ahead of the festive season. The new motorcycle will now be available in Dark Matte Blue as well as Matte Black shade. The best thing about it is that it sports a clean look without any decals.
These two colors join the already existing FZS V4 DLX that is sold in three colors – Metallic Grey, Majesty Red and Metallic Black. Unlike the DLX variant that is offered with contrast colored alloys, seats and some decals, the standard V4 trim comes with black colored alloys and seat.
FZS V4 Price
FZS V4 | Rs 1,28,900 |
FZS V4 DLX | Rs 1,29,400 |
As you can see, the standard variant is available at slightly lesser prices (Rs 500 to be precise) for those who prefer less jazzy motorcycles. It must be noted that the difference is only in styling and rest of the specs and features like Traction Control, single channel ABS, LED headlamp and Bluetooth enabled LCD display continue to be offer on all the V4 models.

A few months ago I did an interesting sales comparison of the R15 and the FZ range and you will be surprised at the numbers. Check that report here.
