It appears that makers are learning it the hard way! There has been incessant price hikes on almost all 2-wheelers in the last couple of years and no manufacturer seems to be worrying! However, in a few instances of late, we have seen some prominent 2-wheeers getting price corrections.
Yamaha first announced a big price slash on its FZ25 and it has followed it up with the new Fascino 125. The company has updated the model and despite the addition of new features, there has been a price reduction.

Further, some color trims of the drum brake variant cost Rs 71,000 and the higher colors of the disc brake variant are priced upto Rs 78,530 more.

As you can see, despite many new features, the drum brake variant has seen a price slash of almost Rs 2000. The new disc brake Fascino 125 now comes with Bluetooth connectivity and in spite of that it has seen a very minimal hike of Rs 1000. It must be noted that the older Fascino never had Bluetooth connectivity.
