Unicorn 150 ABS price is Rs 6500 more than the standard version. It continues to be the largest selling 150-160cc motorcycle for Honda…
At one end, where the Unicorn 160 is struggling to find buyers (related report), the age-old Unicorn 150 has been one stellar seller in this space. In a latest update, Honda has updated Unicorn 150 with Antilock Braking System (ABS).
Like others in this segment, Unicorn 150 also gets a single-channel ABS which works on the front wheel. It does not get a rear disc brake, even as an option. The front continues to work with a 240 mm disc whereas anchoring power for the rear is provided by a 130 mm drum. The addition of ABS has meant an increment of 1 kg and Unicorn now weighs 146 kg kerb. There is a small ABS ticker on the front mudguard differentiating the safer variant.
The only other change listed on the company’s website is the inclusion of tubeless tyres. It continues to be powered by the 149.2 cc single cylinder engine which produces 12.73 bhp of peak power at 8000 rpm and 12.8 Nm of max torque at 5500 rpm.
