Last Auto Expo, TVS showcased their matte coloured Graphite scooter concept which had BMW’s asymmetrical influence on it. This year TVS has come up with something indigenous and it looks brilliant! Called as the Entorq, this 210 cc scooter concept can give some motorcycles a run for their money.
Entorq 210 is powered by an all aluminium, liquid cooled, fuel injected 212.5 cc engine mated to a Variometric transmission. TVS claims this concept can reach a top speed of 120 kmph and they are promoting it as a performance tourer. And hence, it gets an 8.5 liter fuel tank which is large in the context of scooters.
Entorq has been designed and developed by TVS in-house and city-rideability as well as high speed cruising has been paid special emphasis on. It is built on a high-grade steel chassis and gets inverted front forks and a mono-shock absorber at the rear.
It also comes with large wheels and radial tyres which are tubeless. Entorq also gets roto-petal disc brakes both at the front and rear along with ABS. Other features include Start/Stop Push button start, large under seat storage (how large? we don’t know), TFT speedometer console etc.
Among other firsts, Entorq sports intelligent smartphone integration which provides GPS navigation as well as online connectivity.
