Teased – Arrival Of MotoGP Edition RC 390 & RC 200 On September 26

KTM RC 390 & RC 200 donning MotoGP factory colours will soon be a reality in India.. The launch date confirmed is September 26…

So, what started as a strong rumour a few days ago, has now been confirmed by KTM India themselves – that they are bringing special edition KTM RC 390 & RC 200 supersport models covered in MotoGP Factory colour scheme.

Posted a few hours ago, KTM India have posted a small video confirming the arrival of Special Edition KTM RC 390 & RC 200 sporting KTM Factory RedBull MotoGP Livery – which they are currently using their 2022 RC16 MotoGP monsters.

The date set for the arrival and unveiling of these limited edition RC 390 & RC 200 sport bikes is September 26, i.e. coming Monday

The Red Bull Racing factory livery of KTM consists of their iconic deep orange littered with new Galvano Blue, which has also made its way onto numerous road-going machines in recent months. The livery bears the ‘RedBull’ name in bold Red colour with KTM right below it in Black. Will the Indian-spec Supersports bear the racing number of KTM riders looks highly unlikely, but we will wait to make that confirmation.

The die-hard fans of KTM supersport and MotoGP racing will not have to wait longer for these new machines. We were expecting KTM India to launch these limited edition models somewhere next month. However, they themselves have confirmed the 26th September date, which is the coming Monday.

One more thing, alongside the new KTM-Red Bull factory livery, there is a strong rumour that the 2022 KTM RC 390 might get an additional colour option added to the offering. This will take the total colour offerings to 3 in India. This information is still to be confirmed.

Expect a little premium pricing over the current RC 390 & RC 200 pricing offered in India. We are expecting a mark-up of nearly Rs. 15k to Rs. 20k in ex-showroom pricing of the new limited edition models.

Speaking of MotoGP – It has been confirmed that MotoGP is officially coming to India and will be hosted in India for the next 7 years. Read all about it here.
