Jawa Motorcycles India has added new special editions to its motorcycle lineup. This new bike goes by the name Jawa – The Brave and the Bold.

These new color editions have been introduced to commemorate India’s win against Pakistan in the notorious 1971 War.

These special edition Jawa Brave and Bold gets two unique army-inspired paint schemes. One is Khakee and another color is Midnight Grey. This tribute edition of Jawa is offered only in dual-channel ABS.

This Jawa special edition costs INR 1,93,357 (ex-showroom Delhi). As compared to the Jawa 42, the JAWA Brave and the Bold is INR 15,000 expensive whereas it is costlier by 6000 than the classic Jawa.

These special colors come in matte finish on the headlamp bezel, exhaust pipe, suspension, and the engine. What adds to the beauty of the special edition is the Indian tricolor flag design on the fuel tank along with the emblem of the Indian army. 

On the fuel tank, there is also an engraving that mentions “Commemorating 50 years of the 1971 war victory,” followed by ‘1971-2021 Special Edition.’

Are there any changes to the mechanicals of the special edition Jawa?

No, there are no changes in the mechanicals of the new special edition classic. The Jawa Brave and the Bold editions continue to use the 293 cc single-cylinder engine offering 27 hp of power and 27.02 Nm of torque. The engine is fused with a 6-speed gearbox.
