There are two all-new motorcycles that will be launched as soon as the lockdown gets over and things become workable in India. We have listed and discussed them here. In this story, we are listing motorcycles which were already present in the market and companies will launch their updated BS6 variants very soon.
Upcoming BS6 Motorcycle Launches
Hero Xpulse 200 BS6
Expected Price – Rs 1.10-1.15 Lakh
Hero has only updated its entry level 100-125cc products to BS6 uptil now. However, it has revealed the specs and details of the Xpulse 200 which will become the first Bharat Stage 6 compliant 200cc motorcycle in the lineup. You can check its pics and details here. Following the ADV, two more 200ccs will get the BS6 treatment and we believe the Xtreme 200R may be discontinued (more details).
Suzuki Gixxer 250 & Suzuki Gixxer SF 250
Expected Price – Around Rs 1.65 Lakh (Gixxer) and ~Rs 1.80 Lakh (Gixxer SF)
The strategy has remained similar for most makers. Suzuki has also updated its high selling products to BS6 for business continuity and the 250s will be the next. It has already unveiled them at the February Auto Expo and these motorcycles will be introduced soon (more details & specs).
Yamaha FZ25 & FZS 25
Expected Price – ~Rs 1.38 Lakh (FZ) and ~Rs 1.45 Lakh (FZS)
Yamaha is adding a new motorcycle in this lineup – the premium version of FZ25 called as FZS-25. This is a very similar strategy to what it successfully followed in the 150cc segment. The Fazer 25 story doesn’t seem to have worked which means that the FZS may be its replacement. Check pics & details here.
