Apart from the main motorcycle business, Royal Enfield has aggressive plans with its apparel and safety gear segment as well.
In a latest, the Chennai based maker has launched a fresh new range of riding jackets that are designed for different weather conditions and terrains. There are a total of five premium jackets that have been introduced that are CE certified and carry armors from D30 and KNOX. The armors that have been included carry CE level one and level two armor certifications.
Royal Enfield has also clarified that there is a difference between only CE certified armors and the complete jacket being CE certified. For the complete apparel to be CE certified, it has to go through many additional tests.

The top of the line Nirvik comes with D3O level 2 armors at elbow, shoulders chest and D3O level 1 armors at the back. The Khardung La V2 gets D3O Level 2 armors at elbow and shoulders.
