Speculative Royal Enfield Hunter spy pics are now coming in thick and fast. It takes some inspiration from Triumph Street Twin…
Royal Enfield has planned an aggressive product launch-spree to arrest the recent decline in its sales. While one of the models – the Meteor 350 has been leaked extensively (it is coming very soon) there is one more mysterious model that the company has been testing on the roads.
Royal Enfield had patented several brand names in 2019 for its upcoming bikes – including Sherpa, Flying Flea, and Hunter. Our guesstimate is that this motorcycle could be launched under the Hunter brand. However, there is nothing official about it yet.
Talking about the motorcycle itself, it is quite different from the typical Royal Enfield bikes that you see on our roads. It has a resemblance with the Triumph Street Twin which is the most affordable motorcycle from the Brit brand in India. The test mule gets many features, including a short upswept exhaust, wide handlebars, flat single-seat, twin disc brakes, and LED tail lamps.
With this motorcycle, Royal Enfield may be targeting the younger generation of bikers. Hence, it offers a bit more modern design as compared to its other bikes. The bike gets a single-pod instrument cluster, which might get Bluetooth connectivity, just like the upcoming Meteor 350.
Chances are that it may be propelled by the same all-new, 350cc engine of the Meteor, specs of which are still elusive.
