14 Days After Our Leak Bajaj Updates Pulsar RS200’s Page with ‘Dual ABS’

Pulsar RS200 dual ABS MY2020 comes at a very reasonable price increment. It may become a popular choice after this update…

Bajaj Auto has converted its complete Pulsar lineup to BS6. It has carried over all the models with the exception of the naked Pulsar 180. The longest running model in Pulsar’s history has been replaced with its faired sibling – Pulsar 180F.

Like others, the flagship model – Pulsar RS200 found its place on the updated website as well. All the specs and the new prices were updated but it still showed ‘Single Channel ABS‘ under specifications tab. This is when one of our reader tipped us that the motorcycle has, in fact, been updated with dual channel ABS. He also gave us a dealership price list which specifically mentioned ‘Twin ABS’ in front of the Pulsar RS200 BSVI model. Here is the link to our exclusive story on 6 April.

Getting this sneak, we connected with Bajaj to have an official word on this. And after getting a confirmation from the company we published a story on 8 April (link here).

So How Much Bajaj Contributed to KTM’s 2.80 Lac Units in 2019?

In a latest update, after a matter of about 14 days, Bajaj has now updated its website with the correct information ie along with the emission compliance related changes the 2020 Pulsar RS200 also becomes safer with the implementation of ABS on both the wheels. In the process, it also gets the distinction of being the only Pulsar in the range and the third model in Bajaj’s lineup to feature the dual channel ABS tech.

The best news, however, is that the complete update has come only at a price increment of about Rs 3000 or roughly 2 percent. Minor increment in torque adds as a bonus!
