India’s largest manufacturer of high-speed electric scooters – Okinawa sells an interesting scooter Praise Pro in its portfolio which has some exciting features under the hood. Let us quickly discuss about it in this story.
Praise Pro comes with a 1000-watt waterproof BLDC (brushless DC) motor, which is capable of producing a maximum power of 2500 watts. The power figures translate to roughly around 3.39 PS generated by an IC engine.
While these numbers does not look very high, the scooter is good enough for a top speed of over 70 km/h (as per the company). At the same time, Okinawa claims that the Praise Pro offers an impressive range of upto 110 km on a single charge.
But it is the battery that is the USP of the scooter. Praise Pro comes with a 2 KW detachable lithium-ion battery that can be fully charged in just three hours. What’s more? You do not even need a separate socket to charge it. You can charge the battery on any 5A plug (the same plug through which we charge our mobile phones).
The scooter comes with features like fully-digital instrument cluster, central locking with anti-theft alarm, keyless entry, Find My Scooter function, mobile charging USB port, motor walking assist (front/reverse motion), etc.

Apart from that, it also gets a LED projector headlamp with DRLs and rear LED with defogger. It runs on aluminium alloy wheels. Okinawa offers a three-year warranty on the battery, along with roadside assistance.

Praise Pro is available in three colors – Glossy Red Black, Glossy Sparkle Black and Glossy Blue Black. The high speed electric scooter is priced at Rs 79,277 (ex-showroom).
