2020 Access BS6 Price Revealed; Top Variant Costs Similar to Activa 125’s Base Trim

After announcing it in December 2019, Suzuki has officially revealed the prices of its largest selling two-wheeler Access 125.

Suzuki has raised the prices by roughly 11 percent over the older Access’ tags, variant to variant. Here are the new prices against the older ones..

As you can see, the price increment hovers around Rs 6500 which is roughly 11 percent of the older Access BS4.

However, despite the scooter’s necessitated price increase, it continues to be placed lower than its immediate rival – the Activa 125. Access’ top variant can be bought at Activa’s base trim (price Rs 67,490), almost.

The standard Access BS6 is available in five colours – Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue No 2, Metallic Matte Platinum Silver No 2, Pearl Mirage White, Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey.

Suzuki has also revealed the prices of the Special Edition (SE) and it has been priced at a premium of Rs 1700 over the corresponding standard trims. Here are the prices.

The SE edition can be bought in four colours – Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red, Metallic Matte Black, Metallic Dark Greenish Blue and Pearl Mirage White.

The new Access in its Bharat Stage VI compliant avatar gets fuel injection and continues to produce 8.7 PS of peak power and 10 Nm of max torque.

In addition, it gets features like LED headlamp, voltage meter and Eco Assist Illumination on the instrument console (this feature is not available on the entry Drum + Steel wheel variant).

But the biggest feature addition is that external fuel filling lid. All the variants come equipped with CBS (Combined Braking System). Through a press release, Suzuki has announced commencement of retail sales of the new variant from today.
