Despite being dual-cylinder motorcycles, they undercut the single cylinder BMW G310 GS and the TNT 300 now costs equal to the G310 R – such is the case of the overpriced BMWs! It also is priced lesser than the other twin cylinder sports motorcycle in the segment – Yamaha R3!
Vikas Jhabakh, Managing Director of Benelli has attributed the price slash to the ‘significant reduction in manufacturing costs‘, which they say, they have passed onto the customers. Recently, Benelli also offered a near no-cost EMI structure to its customers.
Both the 300s are powered by an inline, twin cylinder, DOHC, water cooled, fuel-injected, 8-valve 300 cc engine which is capable of producing 38.26 bhp of peak power at 11,500 rpm and 26.5 Nm of max torque at 10,000 rpm.
