After a wait of a few months, Hero MotoCorp has officially revealed the prices of its 2020 Xpulse 200. The latest model gets the mandatory Bharat Stage 6 compliance along with few new features and changes.
The Xpulse 200 is the first 200cc motorcycle to get upgraded to the latest emission norms from Hero MotoCorp and follows the recently launched Xtreme 160R. The entry level ADV continues to be propelled by the same 199.6cc, single cylinder engine which now produces 17.8 bhp of peak power at 8500 rpm and 16.45 Nm of max torque at 6500 rpm. There is a minor drop in power and torque numbers in this transition.
Hero has discontinued the carburetted version and the motorcycle is available only with fuel injection. Xpulse 200 now comes with an oil cooler which is fitted at the front of the engine. This should help in more efficient cooling of the motorcycle.

The older Xpulse FI was sold at around Rs 1.06 Lakh which means the price hike has been very reasonable ~Rs 6000 or about 5-6 percent only. This makes it cheaper than 150cc Gixxer and probably the upcoming Hornet 160R BS6 as well.
