Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP BS6 price premium is only about Rs 900 over the standard model of the faired sportster.
After showcasing the Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP with Bharat Stage 6 compliance at the February Auto Expo in Noida, Suzuki confused everyone by releasing a statement that its launch will depend on feedback.
However, along with the 2020 versions of the naked Gixxer 250 and faired Gixxer SF 250, Suzuki has officially announced the launch of the Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP BS6 in India. The MotoGP edition of the motorcycle comes in the Metallic Triton Blue color theme with the only differentiating factor being the ‘BS6’ sticker on the tank. Other than that, it remains absolutely unchanged.
The higher-spec Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP continues with the same 249cc, single cylinder, fuel injected SOHC engine which churns 26.5 PS of peak power but at a slightly higher 9300 rpm (300 rpm higher). Max torque has gone down marginally to 22.2 Nm (older version produced 22.6 Nm) but it spikes at 7300 rpm – 200 rpm earlier.
