Suzuki has officially announced the launch of its 2020 Gixxer 250 which now gains the mandatory Bharat Stage 6 compliance. The new model was first unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo in February in Noida.
The new Gixxer 250 continues to be propelled by the same 249cc, SOHC, fuel injected engine which can produce 26.5 PS of peak power at 9000 rpm (and not at 9300 as earlier shared by the company) and 22.2 Nm of max torque at 7300 rpm according to the press release (clarification pending). This means that in this transition, the quarter liter Gixxer has lost a marginal 0.4 Nm of torque but it peaks 200 rpm earlier.
