2018 Passion Pro & Passion XPro

Both the versions of Passion are powered by the Splendor iSmart’s indigenous 109.15 cc Torque on Demand engine and produce 9.4 bhp of peak power at 7500 rpm and 9 Nm of maximum torque at 5500 rpm. 0-60 kmph sprint is claimed to be achieved in 7.45 seconds.

Hero’s i3s (idle start stop system) is also on offer on both the motorcycles and they come with the following features..

  • Side stand indicator
  • Maintenance free battery
  • Mobile charger (which is an accessory)

The XPro gets a different and stylish body with

  • dual tone mirrors
  • New headlamp
  • LED tail lamp

Both the motorcycles will be offered in five metallic colour options each.

After showcasing them in December, Hero announced commencement of retail sales this month and here are the prices…

Both the variants will be available in both drum and disc brakes each. These prices mentioned above are for the drum variants. Hero has increased Passion’s price by Rs 850 (older version costed Rs 52,339).

Hero has been announcing for the last many months that their focus is now on ‘premium’ motorcycles (apart from scooters) and this is what they have come up with. Apart from these, they have recently, after a long wait of four years, cleared that HX 250R project, the only motorcycle which appeared to be droolworthy, has been shelved and their reason will make you laugh!
