KTM Drops Three Hints of 390 ADV Launch at IBW on 6-7 Dec

Further providing weight to the speculation, KTM has officially revealed 390 Adventure India launch hints in a press note…

KTM has officially announced that it will participate in this year’s India Bike Week which is scheduled for 6 and 7 December. It will be KTM’s first ever participation at this popular motorcycling event which will be in its sixth edition this year.

Now, what makes this event something to look out for is the speculation of the Austrian brand announcing the launch of the 390 Adventure (could also include 250 Adventure) for our market. And there are subtle hints already in the press note shared with us.

390 Adventure India Launch Hints

  • It mentions that KTM will make some ‘key announcements‘ during the two day festival.
  • Further, it will also see the attendance of senior management of KTM India and KTM Austria. Now, generally top honchos do not attend customer engagement programs until it is something big.
  • Another hint is the presence of Giovanni Sala who is KTM Adventure’s Brand Ambassador and a master mentor for KTM Adventure Rallies.

Smaller KTM 250 Adventure Also Revealed

390 Adventure was unveiled by KTM few days back at the ongoing EICMA in Italy as a production-ready motorcycle. It carries the same 373cc engine from the Duke 390 but comes with many ‘ADV’ traits like longer travel suspension, traction control, slightly bigger fuel tank, etc. You can read more details about it here.
