2020 Kawasaki W800 BS6 Launched at 6.99 Lakh – 1 Lakh Lesser Than Before

Kawasaki W800 BS6 price has been dropped by a lakh which makes it an extremely luring motorcycle for retro classic lovers…

Kawasaki has updated its website with the details of the 2020 W800 which should be Bharat Stage 6 compliant now. The Classic motorcycle appears to have retained most of its specs and doesn’t look a lot different from the older version.

It continues to be powered by a 773cc, SOHC, vertical twin cylinder engine which is air cooled. It produces a very conservative 52 PS of peak power at 6500 rpm and 62.9 Nm of max torque at 4800 rpm. This 8 valve motor is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

The W800 weighs 224 kerb and has a fuel tank capacity of 15 liters. Along with a very manageable seat height of 770 mm, it has a ground clearance of only 130 mm.

In terms of modern features Kawasaki’s classic W800 is equipped with assist and slipper clutch, LED headlamps and dual channel ABS. Its round headlamp and traditional looking instrument cluster along with that teardrop tank design exudes a lot of that old-school British styling!

This is the biggest change in the motorcycle – its asking price! In order to make it extremely luring, Kawasaki has knocked off full lakh rupees from its earlier asking tag of Rs 7.99 Lakh. This makes its significantly cheaper than Triumph Bonneville T100 and even the lesser Street Twin.
