Kawasaki’s ‘W’ range of motorcycles comprise simple, retro classic models. It sells its W800 in India at 7.99 Lakh ex-showroom. There are various other models in this lineup starting right from 175cc which are sold in markets like Indonesia.

W175, as the entry model is called, is offered in different variants by the company in the Southeast Asian country. It has lent the Cafe variant the 2020 model year update. It looks simple and utility with spoke wheels, fork gaiters, round headlamp and smaller dimensions reminding us of the older era.

The 2020 W175 Cafe gets new color options of Black, Orange and Silver along with fresher graphics. Rest of the motorcycle has remained identical to the 2019 model. The W175 Cafe is powered by a 177cc, single cylinder, air cooled SOHC engine which can produce 13 PS of peak power at 7500 rpm and 13.2 Nm of maximum torque at 6000 rpm.

There is a carburetor for fueling duties and the motorcycle comes equipped with a 5-speed gearbox. The basic looking bike weighs just 126 kilos and comes with dual shock absorbers at both ends.

Kawasaki has priced the 2020 W175 Cafe at IDR 33,800,000 which translates to roughly 1.58 Lakh in INR. This is the same as the price of the 2019 model in that country.
