Honda sales for September 2022 paint an encouraging picture YoY… However, the Exports fell in monthly comparison again…
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) have shared their sales numbers for September 2022.
And once again, the numbers look good for the Japanese manufacturer when comparing the sales from last year and the previous month (except for the Exports).
The Gross Sales of two-wheelers for September 2022 stood at 5,18,559 units. This is a growth of 7.61% compared to 4,81,908 units sold in the same month last year.

The YoY sales did really well for the company in both sub-categories.
The Domestic Sales registered in September 2022 stood at 4,88,924 units which is a growth of 5.44%.
And the Exports registered were 29,635 units for September 2022 which is again a growth of a massive 62.61%.

Month-over-Month Sales
The MoM comparisons paint an encouraging picture for Honda for September 2022, except for Exports once again.
The Domestic Sales grew by 15.53%, up from 4,23,216 units sold in August 2022.

However, the Exports contracted by 24.61%, decreasing from 39,307 units registered in August 2022.
In total, MoM sales showed a growth of 12.12%.
In other news, Honda recently unveiled their Electric ambition & plans globally – with the aim to launch 10 new electric two-wheelers by 2025.
