As lockdown begins to retract, Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India has initiated the deliveries of the 2021 Honda CBR650R and its naked sibling CB650R. These are the CKD (completely knocked down) models that Honda launched earlier this year.
The deliveries took place at the Honda BigWing Topline showroom in Mumbai. All the COVID-19 protocols were followed while handing over the motorcycles to customers. Collectively, 15 people took deliveries of their motorcycles.
We have already told you that Honda has dispatched 50 units of this 650 duo in the first three months ie March, April and May 2021. This number is higher than the other model that was also introduced around a similar timeframe – the CB500X. You can check out their numbers here.
The new faired CBR650R is available in two colors – Matte gunpowder black metallic and Grand Prix Red. For both the colors, it costs INR 8.89 Lac (ex-showroom Gurgaon).
Similarly, the CB650R, which made its debut in India, costs INR 8.67 Lac ex-showroom, and Honda offers it in two color variants – Candy Chromosphere Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
Both the CBR650R and the CB650R have a similar powertrain. They come equipped with a 648cc inline-4 engine which produces power of 64kW (87 PS) at 12000 RPM and peak torque of 57.5 Nm at 8500 RPM.
The 2021 Honda CBR650R and CB650R come with LED lighting on the head and tail lamps. The former sports a dual-LED headlight while the latter boasts a circular LED headlamp. Both the models also get Slipper clutch.
The 650 duo from Honda comes with features like Emergency Stop Signal, Honda Ignition Security System, and Honda Selectable Torque Control.
On the LCD meter console, the 2021 CBR650R and CB650R display gear position indicator, digital speedometer, digital bar graph, tachometer, dual trip meter, fuel level gauge, digital clock, water temperature meter, etc.

Also, the first lot of the new 2021 Honda GoldWing, which is brought to India as a CBU (Completely Built Units) was completely booked within 24-hours of opening of the booking window.

The gigantic sports tourer from Honda costs INR 37.20 Lac ex-showroom. However, Honda hasn’t revealed the numbers that have been secured.
