Honda today launched its more 125cc more powerful version of Activa. Honda is currently the country’s largest automatic scooter manufacturer, and this will be their first 125cc automatic product for India.
The Activa 110cc variant is the largest selling two-wheeler in the country and Honda hopes that even the Activa 125 will decimate the opposition likewise and hence you see the carryover of brand name ‘Activa’.
Honda Activa 125 Features:
Honda has taken due consideration to the importance of rider safety, by continuing to link both the front and rear brakes with its Combined Braking System (CBS). The list of features also includes:

- Tubeless tires
- Maintenance free battery
- Five spoke alloy wheels
- Viscous air filter
- Disc Brakes
Honda Activa 125 Engine & Fuel Efficiency:
The Honda Activa label is believed to be a perfect assortment of power, mileage and comfort, and the new version will take this a notch higher. The new 125cc mill will be producing 8.6 BHP (at 6500 rpm) of power and 10.12Nm of peak torque (at 5500 rpm), lending it a best in class climbing capability of 23 degrees.
The company goes on to claim a best in class efficiency of 59 kmpl, thanks to its Honda Eco Technology (HET) which improves combustion, reduces friction and optimises transmission, making the engine more efficient as a whole.

- Pearl Sunbeam White
- Midnight Blue Metallic
- Asteroid Black Metallic
- Force Silver Metallic

The introduction of the 190mm front disc brake is a welcome addition, adding more biting power to the scooter.
Activa has always been a very comfortable vehicle to ride, thanks to its wide seats, long wheelbase and convenient seating posture. Honda’s new Activa 125 will go right against the Access and Swish from Suzuki and we have the Dare 125 coming from Hero’s stables.
