New Hero Xtreme 160R latest prices (after the hike) are now slightly over the most affordable motorcycle in this sub-segment…
Hero MotoCorp appears to have finally hit the bulls-eye in the 150cc motorcycle segment with the Xtreme 160R. Despite trying out many different motorcycles, the country’s largest seller was never a prominent seller in this space.
The Xtreme 160R has got the looks, styling and specs (on paper) to ensure bikers consider it when they are out there for a premium 150cc. Hero topped it up with pretty good launch pricing and in fact, it was the most affordable premium motorcycle in its sub-segment till now.
However, like others, Hero has also increased the prices of Xtreme 160R and here are the latest prices…

Hero-Harley Davidson Partnership Almost Certain; Sign Off Possible This Month
As we reported, Xtreme 160R was gradually climbing the sales charts. In fact, in the month of August it outsold Honda’s new X-Blade as well as the Gixxer 150. It will be interesting to see if there will be some kind of an impact on its sales because of this price increment. No other mechanical or cosmetic changes appear to have been made to the streetfighter!
