Hero CoLabs Design Challenge is an innovative way to get fresh new styling ideas from people. The best entry stands a chance to win an Xpulse…
Hero has often been criticized for its design, styling or the graphics on some of its motorcycles and scooters. In fact, most of the enthusiasts attribute Hero for killing its legendary Karizma simply because it got its design terribly wrong in its new-gen model in 2014!
Talking specifically about graphics and paint schemes, its Splendor iSmart is one of the most average looking OEM jobs in the industry. However, it appears things are changing as Hero is settling down with its indigenous production. From the Xpulse 200T, Xtreme 200S and specially the Xpulse 200 Hero’s styling team has started to look much better. And things peaked with the latest Xtreme 160R, which looks phenomenal specially in that white and black dual tone shade (check it out here).
Hero CoLabs Design Challenge
Now, Hero wants you to design the graphics for its Splendor+. It has launched a new initiative – Hero CoLabs – The Design Challenge which is open for all enthusiasts, students, Hero’s fans and professionals. All you have to do is design new graphics and stickers for the largest selling motorcycle in the world and send it to Hero. This is Challenge # 1.
Alternatively, you can also take part in Challenge # 2 wherein you can design Hero Riding Jacket or Hero T-Shirt. You can participate in either one or both the challenges. For more details and how to participate check the official microsite here.
The best entry will win a Hero Xpulse 200 ADV. Others can win Hero Accessories or Vouchers worth Rs 10,000, followed by Hero Smart Sunglasses. There will be 15 consolation prizes of vouchers worth Rs 500 each. That is not all, Hero says that it will put some entries into its production model as well.
Malo Le Masson, Head of Global Product Planning at Hero MotoCorp said,
Hero CoLabs is an exciting new platform, allowing individuals to showcase their talents. This initiative is based on the two pillars of our mission – to collaborate and co-create. We are creating a community
defined by their genuine and meaningful engagement, passion and creative spirit. Hero CoLabs
will expand to other aspects of innovation, this is just the beginning.
The last date for submission is 21st April 2020. Additionally, Hero informs that it has already received more than 1000 entries in the first day of the announcement of this challenge.
