Hero Unveils ~300cc ADV Prototype with Liquid Cooling; Company’s First!

Hero 300cc ADV launch still long time away but the company has given us a first glimpse of what it will be underneath!

Hero MotoCorp has been getting aggressive for a long time now but it appears that they have found the better path. The Hero World 2020 event at CIT, Jaipur gave us a glimpse of what they are upto. Apart from BS6 updates of its motorcycles, Hero also unveiled the brilliant looking Xtreme 160R which also boasts of impressive specs.

Another interesting update was the Xpulse Rally Kit which comes as a lovely option for all you off-road enthusiasts. But that is not all! Hero also showcased an ADV prototype which they are working on. It was kept partially hidden and was devoid of any kind of bodywork; so all that was visible was the internals and the underpinnings of the motorcycle.

This upcoming ADV features a steel Trellis frame (the sub-section was hidden) along with upside-down front forks and a liquid cooled engine – all the three features will be firsts for a Hero product. Talking about the engine, Hero did not reveal the specifics but it is expected to be a 300-500cc motor. We expect it to be closer to the 300cc mark but in outer appearance it doesn’t have any kind of a resemblance with the XF3R – another concept which Hero showed many years back.

Brilliant! New Xtreme 160R Unveiled; Launch Next Month

There is no word on what stage is the motorcycle at but it appears to be in the very initial stages of development. Which means that it is many months away from eventual launch. We may get to see it with its skin on along with some details probably by early next year which is when we can start dreaming about an Indian rival against the KTM 390 Adventure and the BMW G310 GS!!!
