SCOOP: Upcoming Gixxer SF250 100th Anniversary Edition Revealed

Upcoming Gixxer SF250 colors (including 100th anniversary edition) have been revealed. The platinum silver goes out of the lineup…

Just a few days back Suzuki revealed that it will be launching new colors in its Gixxer range (link to story). It did not specify whether all the Gixxers – 150 and 250, faired and naked, will get an extended color palette. However, before the company intended, we have the exclusive pics of the upcoming variants at BikeAdvice.

The Gixxer SF 250 will be offered in three colors and here they are…

2020 Gixxer SF250 Colors

Triton Blue / Silver

This is the 100th anniversary edition in the range which is retro-inspired from the company’s MotoGP machine. This theme has also gone to other bigger GSX-R’s in Suzuki’s global portfolio including the flagship liter class GSX R1000 range. This combination of blue and grey pays homage to Suzuki’s racing motorcycles of the 1960s.

Metallic Matte Black

The matte black shade continues in the range but now comes with updated graphics. The ‘250’ is written in golden letters and the ‘Suzuki’ branding at the bottom of the fairing is also now in white/silver decals.

Metallic Triton Blue

It appears to be continuing unchanged. The same blue MotoGP livery that the special edition currently gets has been taken over.

Is This INTRUDER 250?

The dull Metallic Matte Platinum Silver color will be discontinued from the lineup. There won’t be any changes to the mechanicals and the company’s very potent 250 will continue to be powered by the same 249cc, single cylinder, oil cooled, SOHC motor which is capable of producing 26.5 PS of peak power and 22.2 Nm of max torque.

EXCLUSIVE: Suzuki May Launch NEW SWISH On 7 Oct

Let’s hope Suzuki does not take this opportunity to increase the prices of the motorcycle once again. For reference, the current model is priced at Rs 176,140 (and the MotoGP livery goes at 1,76,941) ex-showroom Delhi. An official launch announcement should be very soon.
