2-Wheeler return policy? Hero Electric has definitely called for a lot of attention with this new offer! You can return a 2-wheeler within 3 days!
Now that is something we are hearing for the first time ever in India, possibly! A return policy on a sold two-wheeler?
Hero Electric has announced a first of its kind 3 Day return offer on its electric scooters. It is applicable on all products with the exception of Flash lead-acid low speed model. It is only available for buyers who purchase the scooters online.
According to the press release shared by the brand, the company will refund complete amount if any sold vehicle is returned within three days of purchase. There is no elaboration of the offer and Hero has just said that this is subject to terms and conditions.
Though this appears to be a very brave offer, the rationale behind this is unclear. It will definitely serve as a noise maker but a customer can not make out if a particular product is right or wrong for him within three days. What will Hero do with the products returned to them is also not cleared.
Apart from this, Hero Electric is also running a very aggressive offer wherein you can save Rs 5000 when you book its scooters online. Here are more details on this.
Hero has also started with deliveries of its EVs in green and orange zones. It has also reopened its 150th dealership post lockdown with all the safety and hygiene measures as mandated by the Government.
Sohinder Gill, CEO of the company says,
The initial burst of enthusiastic response from our customers have indeed left no doubt in our mind that the customers are now seeking an economical and convenient solution from a trusted brand like Hero Electric for their commute that not only has extremely low running cost but also allows home to home drive without having to wait at the petrol stations or frequently taking their bikes for the servicing or repairs. We were pleasantly surprised to hear from many a buyers that they prefer Hero Electric as they have seen what difference the absence of polluting vehicles can do to our environment and they would like to do their bit in keeping our air clean and families healthy.
The company is making major changes in the way bikes are sold and serviced to extend complete protection to our customers.
The company is very hopeful of a pent-up demand for its electric vehicles post lockdown as it believes that people will want to follow social distancing and be green at the same time.
