Now that is something we are hearing for the first time ever in India, possibly! A return policy on a sold two-wheeler?
Hero Electric has announced a first of its kind 3 Day return offer on its electric scooters. It is applicable on all products with the exception of Flash lead-acid low speed model. It is only available for buyers who purchase the scooters online.
According to the press release shared by the brand, the company will refund complete amount if any sold vehicle is returned within three days of purchase. There is no elaboration of the offer and Hero has just said that this is subject to terms and conditions.
Though this appears to be a very brave offer, the rationale behind this is unclear. It will definitely serve as a noise maker but a customer can not make out if a particular product is right or wrong for him within three days. What will Hero do with the products returned to them is also not cleared.
Apart from this, Hero Electric is also running a very aggressive offer wherein you can save Rs 5000 when you book its scooters online. Here are more details on this.
Hero has also started with deliveries of its EVs in green and orange zones. It has also reopened its 150th dealership post lockdown with all the safety and hygiene measures as mandated by the Government.
