Dominar 250 vs Gixxer 250 price comparison listed after Suzuki jacked up the prices of its quarter liter just a day back.
Suzuki first launched the Gixxer 250 in India in August 2019 at a competitive price tag of Rs 1,59,800. It was then a BS4 compliant motorcycle. However, it got updated to the mandatory Bharat Stage 6 emission norms in May 2020 and was priced at Rs 1,63,400 signifying a price hike of Rs 3600 or 2.25 percent only.
However, just after a month, Suzuki has increased the prices. Here is the flow..

The latest price increment is Rs 2041 and the effective hike from BS4 to BS6 is now Rs 5,641 or about 3.5 percent!
There appear to be no other changes to the motorcycle. It continues to be powered by the same oil cooled, single cylinder 249 cc engine capable of producing 26.5 PS of power and 22.2 Nm of torque.
On the other hand, the Dominar 250 was born as a BS6 compliant product and there has been no price revision on it till now. Here is a price comparison table between these two quarter liters..
